Cape Spin: An American Power Struggle tells the surreal, fascinating, tragicomic story of the battle over Americas largest clean energy project. Cape Wind would be the U.S.'s first offshore windfarm... But strange alliances formed for and against: Kennedys, Kochs, and everyday folks do battle with the developer and green groups over the future of American power.

With full access to both sides, a commitment to impartial storytelling and fueled by a satiric revolutionary soundtrack, Cape Spin is "a gripping and entertaining study of eco-capitalism and grassroots democracy". "It proves that environmental films can be crowd pleasers, and not at all just about the environment."

The Film Campaign

Cape Spin! is a great addition to any environmentally or political process oriented campaign. The film digs deep into the politic process, warts and all, to reveal the machinations of fighting for or against a project of national significance. The filmmakers take a complicated permitting process and explore the myriad ways that individuals, organizations and regulatory agencies are manipulated...but toward what end.

The filmmakers are happy to make themselves available for screenings, via Skype or in person, to help audiences understand the meaning of it all, as well as the ways that people can take matters into their own hands. In today's political environment, it's hard to see through to the truth in advertising which is bought and sold to the highest bidder, but Cape Spin! can at least show you how to find your own perspective.
